Super Bulky Ear Warmer

I have had so much fun this weekend working with super bulky yarn!

A friend asked me to make her a messy bun hat for when she runs, so after I made it I had some bulky yarn left over. So I decided to make an ear warmer.

It was super easy and took maybe 1/4 of the skein.

I love how it turned out! So I wanted to share my pattern with you!

Materials:

9.00mm hook

Lions Brand Wool-Ease thick and quick super bulky

Needle for sewing on buttons and weaving ends.

2 wooden buttons

Abbreviations:

Chain (Ch)

Slip Stitch (Sl st)

Half double crochet (hdc)

Wrong side (WS)
Pattern:

Ch 7

Row 1: Hdc in 2nd chain from hook, and each remaining chain, Ch 1 turn (6)

Row 2: Hdc in each stitch. Ch 1 turn  (6)

Row 3: Hdc in each stitch. Ch 1 turn (6)

*continue until it reaches 21″ or your desired length

With wrong side (WS) facing you slip stitch the ends to each other. Turn right side out to place seam on the inside.

Sew buttons onto ear warmer.

*I sewed them on the 3rd and 5th hdc to make sure they were evenly spaced.

It’s so thick and warm!! I love the way it turned out and I cant wait to make more.
Please feel free to share your creations with me!
